Iodine Plus Teat Sanitiser

A ready-to-use or concentrated Iodine based teatspray sanitiser with emolient for the control of mastitis-causing organisms and to enhance good teat condition on dairy cows.

INDICATIONS

A concentrated Iodine-based teatspray sanitiser with emolient for the control of mastitis-causing organisms and to enhance good teat condition on dairy cows. Aids in the prevention of teat cracking and chapping. 

INGREDIENTS

Concentrate: 24.5gm / Litre available iodine (2.45%) and 8.75% Emolient.

DIRECTIONS

Iodine "Plus" Teat Sanitiser is recommended as the product to spray cow teats after each milking throughout the dairy season. During spring, after calving, in wet muddy conditions, or when clinical cases are high, use HIGH RISK dilution to give 5000mg / Litre of Iodine. In summer and as a preventative from environmental contamination, use the LOW RISK dilution. This gives a maintenance level of 2500mg / Litre of Iodine. Additional emolients may be added to the tank up to 20% by volume, but the Iodine "Plus" Sanitiser level must be maintained for effective sanitising.

HIGH RISK: Mix 1 part of Iodine "Plus" Teat Sanitiser with 3 parts of clean cold water.


LOW RISK: Mix 1 part of Iodine "Plus" Teat Sanitiser with 7 parts of clean cold water.
Spray teats after milking, ensuring complete coverage of the teat end.

Meat - Nil
 
STORAGE

Store in a cool dry environment. Keep out of reach of children. Reseal containers when not in use. Rinse empty containers with water and dispose safely.
